Vladimir Korchanov appointed Head of Commercial Port of Vladivostok starting from August 19

Vladimir Korchanov, Head of Marine Division of FESCO Transportation Group (“FESCO”, the “Group”) has been appointed interim acting Head of Public joint-stock company “Commercial Port of Vladivostok” (CPV, part of the FESCO Group) starting from August 19, 2021. 

This decision was adopted by the Supervisory Board of Commercial Port of Vladivostok.

“On August 17, 2021 the Supervisory Board of CPV approved early termination of employment agreement with Roman Kukharuk, Director General of the Port, and adopted a decision on appointment of Vladimir Korchanov, who currently heads the Marine Division of the Group, interim acting Head of Commercial Port of Vladivostok. As part of the altered FESCO team Roman Kukharuk proved to be a professional and anti-crisis manager, directly involved in the formation and implementation of the new development strategy of the enterprise. He successfully coped with the set tasks: CPV operates steadily and continues to take leading positions on the market, the team is preserved and demonstrates high results, closer integration with the structures of FESCO has already had a favorable impact on operational and financial indicators. We thank Roman for accomplished work and wish him good luck in his new independent projects,” Andrey Severilov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of FESCO noted. 

Vladimir Korchanov has dedicated more than 30 years to FESCO, having worked his way up from assistant captain to First Vice-president of the Group. He graduated from the Maritime State University named after admiral G.I.Nevelskoy, qualified as “Navigation Engineer”. Vladimir has various departmental awards.
