Summa Group to close the acquisition of controlling interest in FESCO from Industrial Investors Group

As the result of the announced transaction Summa Group becomes the new main shareholder in FAR-EASTERN SHIPPING PLC.

According to Yury Gilts, FESCO President and CEO, «the arrival of the new main shareholder opens up a number of additional opportunities for FESCO through potential synergies with other transportation assets of Summa Group. At the same time, I am confident that the overall strategic direction, as well as steady growth dynamics, achieved by the preceding owner — Industrial Investors of Sergey Generalov — will be accepted and maintained».
