Realizing the full social significance of coastal transportations, including within the framework of Northern Delivery, Commercial Port of Vladivostok (CPV, part of the FESCO Group) is operating 24/7, three of five berths have been allocated to coastal shipments.

In September – mid-November 2021 CPV received 60 coastal calls, more than 35 thousand TEU were handled to Kamchatka, Sakhalin, Magadan and Chukotka. This is 152% more than in the same period in 2020. As of November 11, 2021, 2450 TEU are stored in Commercial Port of Vladivostok and will be sent to regions according to the schedule of approach of vessels.

Currently the port is processing two vessels destined for Kamchatka and Magadan. On November 12, CPV will start processing yet another vessel.

Over the past two months management of the Group has conducted a close and constructive dialogue with governors of all these regions. In fulfillment of instructions given at the meeting of the President of the Russian Federation on 10.11.2021 the Group is also ready to provide additional measures of support to the Ministry of Transport and all interested departments to normalize the situation with coastal shipments.
