FESCO won the Quest for Quality award.

The magazine Logistics Management awarded FESCO with the Quest for Quality Award for the best indices of the work and high personalized service for shipper customers.

The Award is the mark of prestige and recognition of companies’ outstanding services which operates on the World Shipping Market. Three thousand of North America’s largest corporations judged the performance of ocean carriers over a 12 month period. The goal of this award is to recognize carriers that have achieved excellence in the five critical components:
— on-time performance
— value
— information technology
— customer service
— equipment and operations

There are such the largest liner companies as Maersk Sealand, Hamburg-Sud, P&O Nedlloyd, Canada Maritime, Hyundai Merchant Marine among 19 companies which won Award this year. Far-Eastern Shipping Company is the only Russian Liner Company awarded.

One survey respondent offered this description of steamship line excellence: " The ability of a carrier to conform to my specific needs, rather than giving me the same service as everyone else when it doesn’t work for me».

FESCO’s customer service was rated 5th on the North America — New Zealand — Australia trade route, having left behind such great companies as Maersk Sealand, P&O Nedlloyd, Mitsui OSK Lines. For 2001 this coveted award was presented to FANAL.

The magazine Logistics Management is published in the USA and it is one of the competent publications of transport branch.
