FESCO Transportation Group to announce the new container service from Turkey to Novorossiysk with direct call to Sochi

FESCO Transportation Group (RTS:FESH/FESHG), Russia’s largest integrated transportation service provider with over 130 years of experience, marks yet another step in its expansion into the Black Sea region by teaming up with Barkon Ship Agencies A.S. as agent to offer the direct container service between Istanbul (Ambarli), Turkey and Novorossiysk and Sochi, Russia.

The new service is the extension of the existing FESCO-branded FSDL (FESCO Sochi Direct Line). Serviced by FESCO’s own 270 TEU m/v “Abakan”, the line welcomes clients with 20’/40’ dry and reefer containers, providing the following rotation:

Route: Novorossiysk — Sochi – Istanbul (Ambarli) – Novorossiysk.

The new service’s maiden voyage — 19/10/2012
