FESCO representatives took part in “NEVA 2005” show

FESCO has presented its services and new projects on “NEVA 2005” exhibition, held in September 26-29 in St. Petersburg.

Far-Eastern Shipping Company performed to its partners and all visitors of exhibition the shipping company’s services, including container and intermodal services, reefer and Ro-Ro shipping, own cargo base of different sizes and types, possibility of completing paper work of necessary for consignor documents «in one window», other extra possibilities and advantages of work with the company. One of the most interesting FESCO joint ventures Russkaya Troyka (with Russia Railways) was also presented. Russkaya Troika is an ambitious project which combines marine transport with railways and offers a «door to door» cargo delivery.

Fesco representatives conducted a row of negotiations with shipbuilding and ship repairing companies, including «Riga Shippyard» (Latvia), «Remontowa» (Poland), «Viktorlenac» (Croatia), «Wartsila» (Finland), «Man B&W Diesel» (Denmark).

Discussions and talks were focused on cooperation in repairing, machinery and deck equipment, fuel and oil supply. As Head of FESCO Technical Department Zaven Agadzhanov noted: «We are expecting from this exhibition meetings with shipbuilding and repairing official, producers of special equipment, broadening base of supply and machinery providers." «NEVA» show was founded in 1991. At present more than 500 companies from 40 countries participate in the show, including national expositions and sectoral groups from Russia, countries CIS, Germany, Great Britain, Poland, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, USA, Czechia, Greece and Holland.
