FESCO confirmed compliance with International Standards 11/28/2016

The Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RMRS) has conducted an Integrated Control System (ICS) recertification audit for FESCO for compliance with the International Safety Management (ISM) Code and International ISO 9001:2008 standard (Quality Management System), as well as a supervisory re-audit for FESCO for compliance with the International ISO 14001:2004 (Environmental Management System) and OHSAS 18001:2007 (Occupational Safety and Health Management System) standards.

The audit included the operations at FESCO head office in Moscow, FESCO branch office in Vladivostok and on the board of transport vessels of the company.

The audit results revealed an outstanding level of FESCO safety management and FESCO compliance with International Management Code for the Safe Operation of Ships and for Pollution Prevention and the international standards of the Quality Management System, Occupational Safety and Health Management System and Environmental Management System.

According to the results of the external audit, FESCO certificates of compliance with international codes and standards are to prolong.

The annual external audit is to consistently improve FESCO operations and to ensure FESCO quality service for its clients.
