Within the framework of exhibition TransRussia/TransLogistica on April 18th, 2018 FESCO Transportation Group (“FESCO”) and Swiss InterRail Holding AG signed an agreement of intent. The parties agreed to cooperate in the field of development of joint transportation services in corridors China-Russia-Europe and back, as well as Europe-Russia.
The signed agreement is focused on attracting freight to inland routes located between China and Europe, as well as Europe and Russia. In the near future, the parties intend to determine the priority directions for launching the first joint block train on these routes, as well as within Russia. FESCO and InterRail expect that implementation of joint projects will contribute to development of economic potential of regions of the European Union and the Russian Federation and to strengthening of Russian-European relations.

Cooperation with InterRail opens up an opportunity for us to build the most effective chain of delivery of goods on this route, including by aligning the volumes of oncoming traffic and ensuring optimal balance of the rolling stock”, Alexander Isurin, President of FESCO noted.
