FESCO branch in Vladivostok («Branch») and Ammosov North-Eastern Federal University (NEFU) have made an agreement on cooperation aimed at working on scientific research and development. The agreement was signed by Igor Sharkov, the Director of the Branch, and Anatoly Nikolaev, the Dean of the University, during the Eastern Economic Forum.
The parties agreed to cooperate in joint scientific researches and developments in electronics and machine processing. Creating digital models of spare parts for vessel equipment might become one more part of the cooperation.
“FESCO is very interested in NEFU idea of creating parts for marine engines and other equipment, which would be at least as good as analogs of famous brands. I am sure that our partnership will be successful”, - Igor Sharkov noted.
“Focusing on engineering, NEFU trains professionals specialized in construction, transport logistics, geology and other fields, so technology collaboration will bring NEFU and FESCO a positive outcome for the macroregion development”, - said Anatoly Nikolaev.
