FESCO and Maritime State University Named After Admiral Nevelskoy Have Signed an Agreement on Strategic Partnership in Maritime Specialists Training

Within the framework of the Eastern Economic Forum, public joint-stock company Far-Eastern Shipping Company (FESCO PJSC, the parent company of FESCO Transportation Group) and Maritime State University named after Admiral Nevelskoy have signed an agreement on long-term cooperation in training of highly qualified specialists for the Russian fleet.

The main areas of cooperation will be the improvement of students training quality, participation of FESCO and University specialists in students training, professional training on FESCO ships and at FESCO offices with following employment of graduates, additional training for seamen and employees of FESCO, training of university teachers on FESCO's ships, participation of FESCO's employees in the State Final Attestation of Graduates, training sessions and simulator trainings, as well as conducting joint scientific and research projects and development of the training methodology based on FESCO's 138 year experience in shipping industry.

The President of FESCO Alexander Isurin said: "We pay great attention to hiring and training of personnel. Given FESCO's unique experience in international shipping, transportation and logistics and the high potential of Maritime State University, the leading maritime university in Russia, we continue the tradition of our long-term partnership in proficient training of maritime specialists".
